Maintaining the vaudeville theaters' regular program data will make it possible to analyze the number of appearances of each performer per year and the relationship with various factors. The latest program is easy to obtain digitally, but there are various barriers to obtaining past program.

寄席定席の番組（出演者一覧）データを集計用に整備すると、演者ごとの年間登場回数や、様々な要素との関連分析が可能になる、さらに、過去の番組データを使うと、落語家の世代交代の発現も数値で明示できる。寄席定席の最新の番組情報はHPで公開されておりデジタルデータの入手が容易だが、過去の番組のデジタルデータの公開には、個人情報の問題や公開コストの負担面で様々な障壁がある。また、「年間登場回数ランキング」のようなデータ集計自体が当事者にはあまり好意的に受け止められない、という事実も、障壁の一つと言える。事務局にはこれら以外にも各種の貴重な資料が保存されており、これらが散逸してしまう前に活用の道が開かれることを期待している。
