In this presentation, we will report on the utilization functions of Japan Search and examples of its use. Japan Search provides three utilization functions: "My Notebook" for creating favorite lists, "Workspace" for multiple users to use My Notebook at the same time, and "Project" for creating workspaces and experiencing all the functions available to partner institutions, such as database registration and gallery creation. In addition to the creation of workspaces, the "Project" function allows users to experience the full range of functions available to partner institutions, including database registration and gallery creation. Examples of the use of these functions have been reported in school classes, university museum curatorial courses, and community problem solving. The National Diet Library is also experimenting with the use of the project function for events and workshops.
