Motion of Lantanoid-coordinated Gels under Near-infrared Irradiation at Two Wavelength each.

The rod-shape soft  actuator was fabricated by pasting Nd3+ and Yb3+-coordinated interpenetrated gels consisting of thermosensitive  and acryl anion polymers. The actuator was exposed to near-infrared light at  808 nm and 980 nm in water at 25 °C to  bend the left and right sides in the video, respectively.
