The shape of the flow surface and the pressure distribution obtained using the Stabilized FEM at the front of the building for Case 3 are shown in these movies. We can observe the inflow and propagation of the tsunami wave, and the impact to the front of the building. The complex free-surface shape owing to amplification by reflected waves, for example, appears to be well simulated. The seawater flowing in and out of the openings can be observed in this movie for the model with openings. A wide area at the lower part of the building is highly pressurized in case of the model without openings, but the pressure is significantly reduced in case of the model with openings as seawater flows into the building.
