Animation on Low Energy Beads Mill Dispersion for “Recent Progress in Nanoparticle Dispersion Using Bead Mill” Published in KONA Powder and Particle Journal, 2017, No.34, 3-23
The
dispersion of functional nanoparticles in liquid phases is of great concern for
practical application in Nanotechnology. This animation shows (1) nanoparticle introduction,
dispersion by beads and centrifugal classification in bead mill shown in Fig.13
and (2) morphological changes of core-shell α”-Fe16N2/Al2O3
nanoparticles dispersed using different sizes of beads shown in Figs. 14 and
15. The medium sizes of beads have a sufficient low dispersion energy and
minimize damage to the shape and crystal structure of nanoparticles.
