Data on faunal remains excavated from Kugo Cave, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, by Nagoya University in 1950. Only remains recovered from the lower layers, which are considered to be undisturbed, are included. Species, skeletal elements, measurements, and observations are given. Radiocarbon dating of two specimens indicates the end of the Incipient Jomon period.
