Dataset includes the model outputs of the Nonhydrostatic Icosahedral Atmospheric Model–Spectral Radiation Transport Model for Aerosol Species (NICAM-SPRINTARS) with fine (~56 km) and coarse (~220 km) horizontal resolutions.
Ant+Fire means the presence of anthropogenic emissions along with the global fire activity.
Ant means the presence of anthropogenic emissions.
Ant+FireSb means the presence of anthropogenic emissions along with the emission from the Siberian forest fire.
Ant+Fire_NOWDEP means Ant+Fire with the effect of wet deposition of BC by precipitation removed by excluding the wet deposition process.
The "long" at the beginning of the file name indicates the results of a long-term experiment for 2015-2018. The other files includes the short term experiments for 2016.
The "Mirai" at the beginning of the file name indicates the surface BC concentration (ng/m3) along R/V Mirai’s track, and the "Fukue" indicates surface BC concentration at the observation site of Fukue Island.
The file long_Ant+Fire_56_low_pressure_systems.txt includes
the list of developed low-pressure system events (time, longitude, latitude, SLP, 500 hPa geopotensial height, longitude grid number, latitude grid number).
