Target values and conducted amounts of forestry operations in latest Japanese Regional Forest Plans in 2022 formulated by Japanese prefectural governments

<p>In Japanese public forest planning system, Regional Forest Plans (RFPs), targeted at private and public forests except for national forests, are formulated by prefectural governments for 158 forest-planning regions, in accordance with "Forest and Forestry Basic Plan" and "Nationwide Forest Plan" formulated by the government.The planned and conducted amounts of forestry operations are described in RFPs. This data includes the previously planned and conducted, and currently planned five-year amounts of final harvesting volume, thinning volume and artificial planting area and their previous achievement rates (the proportion of conducted amounts to planned ones) , described in the latest RFPs in 2022.</p>
