Hydroxyapatite and α-alumina powders were soaked in rat serum for 24 hours at 37°C. The proteins adsorbed on hydroxyapatite and α-alumina were extracted, purified, and digested with trypsin. The trypsin digest of each sample was analyzed with a nano flow-LC coupled with a tandem mass spectrometer. Supplementary materials 1 and 2 list rat serum proteins adsorbed on hydroxyapatite and α-alumina, respectively. Supplementary material 3 lists rat serum proteins adsorbed on both hydroxyapatite and α-alumina.
