Output Dataset for Assisting ISMS Document Revision Using Web-based LLMs in a University Environment (Organisational Controls A.5.1–A.5.37)

<p>This dataset contains the results of an experiment on revising ISMS controls using web-based large language models (LLMs), namely Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini. </p> <p><br></p> <p>In June 2025, the enterprise versions of both LLMs were prompted with the ISMS control documents of the Yokohama National University Information Technology Service Center, which conform to JIS Q 27001:2014, and were asked to revise them according to the updated controls defined in JIS Q 27001:2023. The revised controls were generated in Japanese, and the outputs were compiled into comparative tables.</p> <p>There are 93 ISMS controls in total, which are categorized into organizational, human, physical, and technological controls. This dataset includes 37 items from the organizational controls (controls 5.1–5.37). Each control was also labeled according to its correspondence in the revision: directly migrated controls (1:1), integrated controls (N:1), and newly added controls (new).</p> <p><br></p> <p>The dataset is provided in both PDF format, for readability, and CSV format, to facilitate reuse and further analysis.</p>
