<p>The flowering levels of the dwarf bamboo <em>Sasa</em> sect. <em>Sasa</em> were surveyed along major roads by Integrated Grid Square of Japan (so-called 2nd mesh, 5 min. along latitude, 7 min. 30 sec. along longitude, ca. 10 km square) to determine the area of mass flowering in Hokkaido, northern Japan in 2022 and 2023.</p>

<p>0: No flowering were found</p>
<p>1: Small flowering areas were slightly found</p>
<p>2: Flowering patches were occasionally found</p>
<p>3: Approximately half of <em>Sasa</em> sect. <em>Sasa</em> were in flowering</p>
<p>4: Most of <em>Sasa</em> sect. <em>Sasa</em> were in flowering</p>
<p>9: <em>Sasa</em> sect. <em>Sasa</em> were not found</p>
<p>Null: Not surveyed</p>
<h4>Files</h4>
<p>CSV file (Sasa2022-2023.csv) includes Mesh ID and data for 2022 and 2023.</p>
<p>GeoPackage file (Sasa2022-2023.gpkg) was created with 2nd mesh grid (Biodiversity Center of Japan, Ministry of the Environment). Coordinate Reference System is WGS84 (EPSG: 4326).</p>
