Dataset of monthly front frequency in mid- and high latitudes

This dataset includes the monthly data of front frequency in mid- and high latitudes for 64 years from 1958 to 2021. It was aggregated data of fronts detected by applying an objective method to the 4-times daily JRA-55 reanalysis.

- Temporal Coverage: monthly values for 1958/01 to 2021/12

- Spatial Coverage: 1.25 degree x 1.25 degree global grids, 0.00E to 358.75E, 80S(-80) to 15S(-15) and 15N to 80N

- File Name: zipped file including 768 files  (ex.) FD${year}${month}.csv

- Dataset Format: CSV, column 1: longitude (deg), column 2: latitude (deg), column 3: front frequency (%, denominator: the number of days in the month x 4 times)
