These data cover the different particle shape configurations considered in this research. Residual mass values over time and particle velocities at two instants of time are presented. The residual mass represents the mass inside the silo during discharge. Velocity values were recorded at 0.1 and 0.2 seconds after the outlet was opened and at five different heights above the outlet.

Numerical simulations:
Model: Discharge of a flat-bottom silo.

Particles: Spherical and multi-spherical with different aspect ratios and elongation.
Comparisons between numerical models are established during the discharge process.
