Analysis data of Urinary 8-HdG among healthy residents more than 50 years in Japan
This data is from the lifestyle habits, medical check-ups, urinary 8-OHdG levels (an indicator of oxidative stress), and cardiovascular indicators (blood pressure, NT-proBNP, ECG findings) of 248 residents aged 50 or older who participated in health promotion events held by the authors in Mitaka City between 2008 and 2018. The participants were not the same people. Note that urinary 8-OHdG levels below 1.7 ng/mg creatinine could not be calculated, so they are expressed as "1.7 ng/mg creatinine or less."
The authors used this database for statistical analysis (chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis).
urinary 8-OHdG/creatinine *: Because the urinary 8-OHdG value was less than 2.0, the creatinine equivalent value could not be calculated and was provisionally displayed as "0.0."
